Ramona and Lola.

Thanks for digging me. I thank the both of you for your insight; and I'm happy that there are women out there who understand the need to build their own personal dynasties of a well lived life.

Thanks again.

So. True.
After a while, all that - the celeb gossip, reality tv shows, etc - not only become boring and repetitive, but end up doing more harm than good. We spend hours on the net, reading all the different blogs, checking out the latest news on their favorite reality tv "star"- so much so that it takes away from time that could be spent on personal improvement. I like Kimora- her business swag is great- but spending hours watching her show, then hours more discussing it isn't going to help me much. Those hours could be best spent figuring out how I am going to better myself and my situation.

Kudos to those who are writing about "taking care of home/heart/spirit and loving it" and are "giving away fresh, free and chic ideas on making the life you have work and giving you daily inspiration to expand your possibilities." We're needed and necessary, regardless of what the masses may drift towards!

Great Post.

Amen! And Amen!
Today, I spent my lunch hour with women who talked incessantly about reality TV--Kimora Lee Simmons, John and Katie's Eight (huh?), Super Sweet 16, and the list goes on. At first I thought I was bothered by the conversation because I don't watch much TV, (that habit of mine often places me out of the pop-culture) loop, but I realized that my boredom, irritation and sadeness came from a much deeper place: WE DON'T LOVE OUR OWN LIVES... I really am deeply troubled by our deep need to escape from our own reality by watching (well-edited) snapshots of other people's lives. Thanks for creating a blog that makes an attempt to redirect our focus to something that has real value--our SELVES!

Infinite Blessings.
