She is a wonder! I’m just pleased to see a Black Woman carrying the tradition of our expression into the next century. I love Black talent and seeing it represented. I’ll be home in October and will make it my business to visit the museum.

Thanks Simone. My goal is to promote dynamic people of color. People who transcend race but of whom are very much proud to be black. Like Obama. Sometimes the scope of who we are gets limited and lost in the media hype.

I’ve read here and there about Ms. Golden. Glad to know that a woman of her knowledge and sophistication is holding it down. I remember going to the museum as a kid. I also went to Harlem School of The Arts and lived in The Schomburg. LOL
