what I can do.

There isn’t a person on God’s Green earth who wouldn’t over indulge if food didn’t have any consequences. I’d have a jumbo chocolate chunk cookie. Everyday. But until GT can have an army brigade of dietitians, personal chefs, personal trainers, hair and makeup artists, yoga/pilate instructors, stylists, facials, massages, colon therapists and airbrush artists I’m gonna have to focus on what I can do and that’s having a set of principles that I can follow so I don’t end up playing myself on the daily. Without further ado…some Friday food for thought.

  • No more bad meals. We all know what crap eating is.
  • Eat in color. If it ain’t Cauliflower treat the white stuff as poison.
  • Drop all soda.More Poison.
  • Eat real food in moderation. Mickey Dees is not real food and Hefty Portions are for Sumo Wrestlers.
  • Practice eating half of what is on your plate. You won’t always win this one.
  • Food is food. Not a vice or a crutch for emotional distress.
  • If I have a burger; I won’t eat the fries. Ok. Maybe six or seven.
Fin.
Raise your hand. What is your food philosophy? If there were not consequences what food would you eat every day?

I’d eat icecream everyday. That’s my big vice. Other than that, I love veggies, fruit and usually use a salad plate in order to control my portions. I also live in a city where I walk alot just like NYC, so that helps big time. San Francisco is hills, hills and more hills. LOL

Don’t need a treadmill huh? LOL

Must be nice living in warm climates year round.
BTW…I just started having a love affair with ice cream about a year ago; never really liked it much as a kid. But now I love good coffee icecream, Pralines and Cream, and Chocolate.

    Dalish!

San Fran is not warm all year round. LOL. It is coldest in July/August and through the winter it can drop into the 30′s. I usually wear a coat or jacket throughout the year. So Cal gets all the nice warm weather. :-)

Don’t really have a philo, but that picture looks delicious!

Well, really, I don’t do soda or fast food (except in extreme circumstances). Not much more than that, though.
