board. not bored.
Life is a project. The more time you dedicate to it; the better the outcome. The time is now to give your dreams a face. And inspiration boards do just that. Without further ado…
1. An inspiration board for a home/and or corner office. Its quite obvious that this person is detail oriented and organized. It screams structural, modern and contemporary.
2. This is a more playful and relaxed vision board with a unique shaped cork board background. It’s uncrowded and focused.
3. This board is soft, romantic, flirty and feminine. Notice the cross stitch use of ribbon to make everyday items pop. The pink wall makes me smile.
4. For those who are inspired to hit the high road. Airline tickets, and destination postcards make this board come alive.
5. An artsy board. No rhyme or reason. This person just goes with the flow of their mood.
6 & 7. The boards above and below signify all things home and is right up Get Togetha’s alley. Slighty messy but has purpose. They both feature living well and living quality alongside some very personal touches.
This will be a first in a series of inspiration boards that I’ll feature on Get Togetha. And for the love of God there are no rules to this and no you are not married to the images that you choose for your board. You can use buttons, paint samples, postcards, family pics, magazine images, materials, prints, a fragrance sample…What makes this process fun is that you can edit, edit, edit till your heart falls out.
Raise your hand. Which board inspires you most?

Yippeeee! I love the first and the fourth (of course). There’s a sense of order and purpose to them. I’m a bit of an order facist @ times. LOL. That said, the pink makes me smile as well, while not being my style @ all.

LOL @ order facist. Pink is definitely not my go to color but I appreciate when others can make it work for them…

There’s so many images I need to add to my current board. The board definitely helps to crystalize my vision; the project also allows me to dream very very big, for it encourages indulgence be it of a spiritual and/or material nature. Actually, I like to bring together the best of both worlds. Thanks for the reminder GT.

I too am a fan of inspiration boards, and being the obsessive compulsive neat freak that I am, I’m partial to #2.
