Judith Jamison is not only an icon because she’s a dancer, choreographer, and Artistic Director of one of America’s most well renowned Modern dance institutions but because she’s also carried the weight, rich tradition, history, and cultural significance of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater on her lean and long back since 1989. Not sure if the company is still performing the timeless dance piece “Revelations” in their repertoire but if you are any where near a well stocked public library you’ll have a chance at viewing it on DVD.
The Philadelphia native is what I call a stunner. The type of woman who at no matter what age will remain statuesque and graceful. I mean look at her.

They are both inspirational. Carrying on the tradition of culture in the Black Community. I’ve seen Ms. Jamison in person and she is a total goddess.
