Don’t know what a Fotki is…But yes you can change at least one door knob in an apartment rental. But I understand if you don’t wanna go through the hassle…

Wow, this is so funny because I was just looking at finials for my daughters’ dresser. I love tiny embellishments like doorknobs. We live in an apartment that had the UGLIEST most BORING doorknobs. So we upgraded them and will be taking them with us when we move on up.

People don’t notice ugly knobs but anything different from the norm will definitely stick out and result in compliments.
