gifting.

Isn’t she an adorable sight to behold?  It’s a silver plated bee that holds honey in her femme fatale glass bodice! GT found this little leggy and sexy number over at Delight; an uber chic shopping site for unique and quirky finds. This item would make for a great hostess gift or you can drop hints and send the link straight to your boyfriends inbox.

Speaking of giftsbelieve it or not it’s a short eight weeks from Christmas/Kwanzaa/ Rosh Hashanah/Three Kings Day so it’s time to start thinking about your gift list. or your shit list. Ha! Now I’m not singling anyone out but some of us aren’t the best of gift givers. So courtesy of GT I’ll be dropping science on some gifting ideas of the domesticity kind. Hopefully it’ll press the sharing and caring button that’s located on your back.  Of course you ultimately get to decide who’s been naughty or nice.

What types of gifts do you generally give for the holidays…if any? Last minute, well planned or homemade?

A combination of all three. It makes for an interesting Christmastime. That reminds me, I need to hit up ritzy yard sales for this year. =)

That is hella cute! I think I need one for myself.

I always give personalized gifts…growing up with an unusual name, I always craved those things…so I vowed to make it a part of my adult giving.

Usually well planned. I give clothes or items that I know a person will like. I don’t do alot of last minute gifts because I know what I want to purchase before hand.

I have to admit that I really a sucka for the Holidays. It’s just a time of year when I’m most grateful and my heart is filled with so much love that I can explode. My gift-giving skills are on point and regulated to a few; otherwise I’d do serious credit card damage.

Well planned and homemade. I usually finish my shopping the day after thanksgiving (or before), but the past two or three years I’ve fallen off.

Even though you did not ask me what I want for Christmas, I will tell y’all that I decided to give myself the Namiki Vanishing Point Retractable Fountain Pen (Pilot).

With that said, Although the Christmas season is my favorite season, I always seem to find myself with different people during Christmas (this makes kind of sad). Because of the lack of consistency, I just ask people what they want. :-(

Bought it! Ha! I’m going to give it to my sister. She loves tea and hates white sugar. I love that sight BTW…GT you are on to something.

I meant to comment that I think that bee is sooo cute! I have a friend who just got married (older couple, less formal) who might get this as a gift.

Ooo…I love that little bee! I am printing this and adding it to my personal Christmas list.

I always try and find one special gift for everyone and then will give them a Visa or American Express gift card to purchase something else they may really want.

I’m really feeling your site! Would love to do a collaboration with you in the future…
