growth spurt.

Anynaggingway.

Lets do some follow up cause GT wouldn’t be worth a damn if I didn’t offer my readers and lurkers some ideas on how to eat the elephant in your life’s room. But remember…GT don’t do advice…cause grown folks 18 to 80 do what they want regardless of what you tell em…don’t they?….so let’s just say that this is what I do when turning into a hot ass mess…

  1. Get into the habit of being honest with yourself. Seems like common sense; but we all know that common sense ain’t common.
  2. Get a brand spanking new journal for the 09′. And $.99 cent B&W composition notebooks need not apply. A beautiful journal is an investment and your spirit with respond accordingly.
  3. Ask someone who’s opinion you respect this vital question: Do you think I’m afraid of failure or afraid of success?
  4. Go to Steve Pavlina and read all his “best of” articles. It’ll take you about two months.
  5. Forgive whomever you are angry with.  Being in a state of unforgiveness will make you stuck. Stuckness leads to that constant nagging.
  6. To do lists do suck when they aren’t in alignment with your goals. Ahhh..goals. Remember those?
  7. Clean up and Clear out your clutter. Clutter is like living a slow death. kills.
  8. Look for inspiration. Being surrounded by beautiful things like furniture, magazines, art, & music make a difference in the quality of my life.
And that’s about it. No magic wands, tricks, or twelve step programming, just real talk. “That nagging” is actually a good sign that you’re ready for another growth spurt. And you thought that only happened to four year olds…

5, 6, and 7 are THE BUSINESS. You know, I was looking for some inpiration and happened upon Colin Channer’s sight. He wrote one of my fave books ever “Waiting In Vain”. His writing is truly poetic and never fails to move me.

First Lady…you’re sweet. I’m feeling the love coming through the screen…

When you’re willing to do something for free all day…you’ve found your calling.

Awe!!!! I felt it too!! (SMILE) I also visited the recommended site and MAN!!!! THA BOMB!!!!! Wow… I am really leaning towards the purchase of the book from Amazon.com BUT I am afraid it will repeat what I’ve already read… have you read???

Also, I truly agree about knowing when you’ve found your calling.

You started using words like GOALS? And honesty? Even forgiveness? Dang. Great list!
