Many of music’s most gifted singers suffer from the mainstream market’s determination to categorize artists and pigeonhole them into niches. And that’s just really unfortunate. Rachelle Ferrell is one of those ultra rare singers that not only can’t be marketed; she defies category. Chick is not to be played with. Her pipes are ri-damn-dic and she’s a certified BEAST on the mic. She’ll eat the marketing gimmick pie of today’s image driven music scene; whole. You hear me? Whole.  Thankfully there are some YouTube crumbs available to the public. They will help GT readers understand how ill this woman will make you with her voice.
