in your beeswax.
GT’s curious to hear how you’ve handled your first official post “A Black Man is President” weekend. As for myself, GT bought some white spray roses, cleaned out the hall closet, reassessed my goals on paper, meditated, listened to Esperanza Spaulding, ate a great hamburger, played cards, and shared a bottle of wine with my love dealer. GT also broke her cardinal TV rule; I sat on the couch and watched Sunday Morning political news all damn day. Whatev.
Let’s make this week a great week shall we. How was your two days?

Well. I can’t help but feel like I own something now! LOL. I carried the “Are you Serious?” attitude all weekend! LOL. I felt like I was in control. I can’t help but wonder if I’m wrong???

I did some writing and reflecting and decided to let certain things go that I was holding on to. I’ve decided that I want to move back home to NYC by 2010 and I’m planning to make than happen.

Hey, y’all!
I am febrile and in a lot of pain today.
I have an appointment with the doctor as soon as I get off work today. If it is what I think it is, I should be fine by Wednesday.
Anyway, here is my weekend:
Friday & Saturday: Puppy sitting!!! Jasmine is a baby Min-Pin who has too much energy, but she was such good company this weekend. Her “mom” went to the Marine Corps Ball on Friday.
I even took Jazz to work on Saturday (SAT Prep Course). LOL.
Jasmine and I had lunch with a friend from college. She was in town from Conn.; I had not seen her in eight years… We connected on Facebook.
Sunday: Sick and feverish, but I managed to be a good book-club host! I served the rest of the quiche from the literary soiree and sausage & peppers with tomato chutney. I also served a raspberry tart for dessert, along with a red wine and a white wine. We read Marilynne Robinson’s Housekeeping this month. It was a rather lonely book.
Have a great week!

I went to the electronics store with hubby (proof that love bears all things – ha ha) and we watched movies and I started some holiday planning. It’s already November?
