in your beeswax.
Ahhh…Cyber Hugs and all that. How was your wkd?
GT’s two days was better than the last weekend I’ll tell you that. It was filled with busyness. Saw Iyanla Vanzant on Friday, went to a Get Togetha with some cool folks and watched a documentary…it was an underwhelming yawner…and GT made…get this….Key Lime Cheesecake on Sunday. A sista is going to have to hit the treadmill extra hard; cause once the Holidays roll around GT tends to go plum fool…ackin like I don’t know what calories are.
Curious to hear about your two days….and make it good…

It was a good weekend. The weather was beautiful and I went for a walk, treated myself to breakfast and did some writing. I’m really getting into prose right about now. My buddy called me a renaissance women to which I replied “I’m a hack.”
I’m excited to come back home to NYC for a visit on the 3rd of December. GT wanna meet for lunch or brunch?

ok, you ready???
I missed Church yesterday : {…. dyed my hair black on Friday….still not satisfied. I’m concerned I am trying to make up with outward appearance for something missing inward. (I’m almost sure that’s what I’m doing : { – Saturday I watched Denzel in American Gangsta for the first time and actually enjoyed the movie. AND (drumroll) the highlight of my weekend I called Comcast 3x’s to FINALLY get a WONDERFUL Customer Service Rep who recognized the hope in my voice as I searched desperately to add STARZ into my budget plan and then the pain of having been told twice it would be $17.99+1.99 set up to add. They say third times a charm because God opened up the Heavens and touched her becuase she offered it to me at 10$ for 12 mos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God! I know, I’m too excited BUT its hard out here for a …. ok you know how it goes…
Much Love and Monday Peace.

First Lady. Gurl. You funny. Denzel was pretty good in American Gangsta; I just didn’t get his love interest no? It was so random and they had no chemistry.
Dying the hair is fun. And I’m glad you’re connecting with your truth radar. Don’t be afraid to go deeper than the surface.
Monday Peace to you as well.

My 2 days were swell…Friday night consisted of chilling out at home and doing my hair – I was actually happy to do that on a Friday night, since it was cold as a pig’s snout up here. Saturday, I was a good girl and hit the gym, but the Pilates instructor was MIA, so I missed out on that. Big bummer. Went to watch the BF play in his basketball league, had my first trip to Starbucks with an old friend (yeah, I’ve never been to SB’s or drank coffee in my life :S), went to a small café for a friend’s birthday, went to dinner for another friend’s birthday, then capped the night off with a live private party (house party feel – small, intimate, red lightbulb included) and food at a 24hr Chinese spot then ended up getting shot up :O Made it out alive though! Sunday was all about groceries and improving the home space (even debated some wall decals that GT posted about a while back!). Now, I’m back at Amistad…uh, I mean work.

Friday night my husband and I watched a movie. I let him play waiter with the snacks and stuff. Saturday we went out shopping and people watching. We saw carolers and reindeer and I almost forgot that Thanksgiving had not even come yet. LOL
