lesson.

Ahhhhhh.

GT promised to give blogging a break; but I almost forgot that living quality was my passion and when you have passion you just can’t lock it up and throw away it away in the dungeon. Passion is the DNA of Joy.

Which brings me to this post.

I don’t mean to harp on the surrealness of this past November 4th at 11PM; but there are so many lessons to learn from what’s transpired. Hope and Change beat Hillary, Muslim and Terrorist associations, Michelle O attacks, Empty suit charges, ACORN, inexperience, Rev. Messy Jessy, Rev. Wrong, Ayers, Bible Spice *Wink Wink* and endless forms of inconsequential frivolity.

And to add insult to injury. The criticism.

They say the amount of criticism you can take is an indication of how successful you’ll be. And think we can all degree that Barack is the walking breathing epitome of success: faith, courage, discipline, and laser sharp focus. He had the gall to have the audacity of hope by putting his scrawny butt on the line for a long shot. Wow. Just…wow.

When you wrap your brain around it…what immediate lesson do you draw from witnessing this history?

Be quietly confident in your abilities and never let them see you sweat.

He’s bad ass cause he surrounded himself by people who could get the job done. That campaign was nothing short of perfection.

Live without fear and have a creative and innovative mind. Don’t be afraid to be different. I want to go to the inauguration big time.

Thank God the women of America didn’t support va-jay-jay politics and Obama’s (growing up on foodstamps) elitism…*wink*

My biggest lesson: No matter what limitations others put on you, the only ones that matter are the ones you put on yourself. Clearly, Obama believes he has no limitations. More than anything, I am inspired to be the best person I can be.

The lesson I drew from this whole fantabulous un-digestable event is that I never realized how out of place I felt until I knew what it felt like to feel in place. Though I’ve been here all my life, I honestly feel like it’s MY country now. I realized now I hadn’t felt like it was my country before. Now I feel like we ALL co-exist together. Also, I realized I am a bit jealous of the too fabulous First Lady Michelle! LOL. Its so hard not to admire her seemingly perfect figure or her STRONG BLACK WOMAN_NESS!

The biggest lesson I’ve drawn from this is that even though the internet gives LOTS of space to REALLY stupid people, I don’t have to click the link. :)

Your comment is interesting cause I was watching The View the day before yesterday and I listened to Whoopi say that she now feels like she can put her suitcase down.

Made the hairs on my arms stand up.

Nobody’s life is perfect so no need to be jelly of the Misses. She earned hers and you can/will earn yours…right? I suspect that you aren’t alone in company when it comes to Miss O’s perceived blessings. Yes she is fabu; but you never know what happens behind closed doors.

Fabulessness never runs on fumes; it is available in unlimited quantities so there’s enough for everyone.

    Yes TJ.

Lots of low IQ denseness in the world. But it needs to exist so we can know what smart really is. LOL…

And BTW…I planned on making that trip to DC on a bet. Thankfully it worked out. I live 3.5 hours from DC; so I have no excuses.
