no fug.

GT shamefully has a friend whos’s described their work space as a cross between Ripley’s Believe it or Not and a Root Canal. I won’t name any names; but in spite of the work getting done; they’re a hot sizzling and painful mess.

Folks there’s simply no excuse to be working in a fug environment. The nature of desk work, cubicle work, is nothing to write home about so you might as well put your own spin on it. Fug work environments suck life and inspiration out of you till one day your face will look like this.  Why risk it?

Thank heavens for pretty. Perk yourself up and the four grey walls you’re enclosed in.

Clockwise:

Black and White Damask File Folders, Whitney English.  Pencils and Decorative Cup, See Jane Work. Pink and Brown Magazine Box, Target. Spike Waste Can, West Elm. Real Simple File Organizer, Tarjay. Butterfly Drift Journal, Elum Designs. Incredibly Useful Grassy Organizer, Delight.

Nantaka Joy Note Books (Love, Love, Love these!), Money Tree in Bamboo Pot, Red Envelope. Eight Days a Week Planner, See Jane Work. Office Storage Both by West Elm.

How would you describe your work space?

I have the office storage from West Elm and I love them. My space is feminine NOT girly. I love sitting here because the space makes me smile. I just need a really nice chair to complete the look. I’m thinking Louis Ghost by Phillipe Starck.

Well….. My cubicle .. is having a bit of a hard time. I “used to be ” a clutter cug so you can just about imagine how that looks in a four walled cubicle/ Papers and pin-ups galore. Well…. believe it or not, when I turned 25 (Sunday – Thank God for another year) Something came over me where I ABSOLUTELY HATE ALL THIS CLUTTER!!!!!! GT! Help me, how do I get rid of it? I am mostly concerned with my apt. I cleaned the living room for 2 hrs last night and the clutter still feels like its at an all time high. Arrghh! Help me, send me some pics of mis-sized open living rooms design ideas?? Clutter free??? Anyone???

I just started a new job and got assigned my cubicle so I can’t wait to spruce it up. I also need to do something with my desk at home as well.

    *sigh* the dreaded office space…
Honestly, I don’t really personalize my office space at work – I have a few photos and some little trinkets, but other than that, I use the company’s supplies. Perhaps I’ll be a bit more cheery at work if I have my own special things to use…
I do know that my office space at home needs some serious personality…it’s very generic. This post has given me a lot of great ideas though…GT saves the day again :)

Mercilessly cluttered…but I refuse to dress it up because I feel like I’ve settled in too much when I’ve done that – I’m not trying to be there that long. LOL.

    Great stuff you picked out

I definately have to get my space together. It looks like a Hurricane and Tornado made a baby. I give out all this great lifestyle advice on girlfriend church about us getting our mental and emotional ish together, but I cant keep my space together! The woes of a doctoral student lol…anyway I am going to use some of these tips, I am also trying to be more harmonic and balanced in my space, and trying to delve into the “go green” campaign I love this advice
