musings: seeing life.

Talking Bout Life...

Eye level: follows the head, takes no for an answer, sells itself short, practices timidity, loves being a cynic, sees the glass as half-empty, believes there are no choices, fire breathes limitation, sees only one way of doing, is ever thankless, lives a life of fiction, loves being a hater, can dish it but can’t take it, points the finger, loves to talk about what they don’t have, brings the pain, whines, complains, keeps it stale, thinks local, lives in a shallow pit, continually looks backwards, uses flawed humans as a measuring sticks, shrinks & shrivels, wants shortcuts.

High Level:  follows the heart, creates their own path, demands of themselves, practices boldness, sees the glass as half-full, keeps it fresh, works with what they have, loves haters, needs haters; breathes them like air, believes in the power of choice, moves forward, believes in dreams, lives a life of fact, thinks global, walks in their own greatness, embraces pain, accepts criticism, desires purpose, is ever grateful, is generous, makes their own luck. Grows. Expands. Evolves.

One of the most important questions in life to ask yourself is: On what level do I see life?

I strive to see and live life on high level, but just too many times lately I’ve been indulging in the practices of eye level. :) Back to the drawing board.

I am high level girl. Always have been. To me it makes life easier to deal especially when hard times come along.

I’m striving to keep it high level. Gotta stay optomistic and motivated.

Hmm. I think you can see life both ways at the same time, you know? Sometimes you can’t always live life at “high level,” sometimes you’re at “eye level” when life knocks you the hell off course. All you can do when you get that way is to remember those moments when you felt you were at “high level”, strive for those moments and not beat yourself up if you don’t always make it there.

    Or something like that.
