hip hop heads + thank yous.
I love the modern chic-ness of the hip hop head print..it’s so DMC/MC Shan/Biz Markie ish…so immediately I knew it would be the debut image for the mini-return of Get Togetha eye candy. Just put the print in a white frame and voila!..your ode to throwback MC’s becomes a chic decor statement matching your vinyl record collection. Makes a great gift to the relic dude guy my husband who swears on a stack of Bibles that nothing is sweeter than the sound of 80′s hip hop. And we all know someone like that. He he.
*Heavy Sigh*..and to all of you who: dropped comments of love & support, the lurkers, the hater undercover, the people who linked, tweeted, and to those of you who are watching Get Togetha’s every move I can’t thank you enough for your energy. The release of “Blog Your Passion ” proved to be a download success beyond my imagination.
This week will be a shortie but I do have a stocking stuffer decor inspired roundup to whet your appetite for your inner Santa Claus. While some of you may pray for the Holidays to come and go GT looks forward to the little bit of crazy: the weight gain, the cheesy movies, the spending, being punch drunk, dealing with annoying “glad I only see them once a year” relatives. and all of the shiny knick knacks that light up come December time..it all just makes me dizzy & starry eyed. And what about you..do you have a love/hate grinch relationship with December or do you get the twinkle in the eye?

I definitely get the twinkle…. On top of being a December BABY… lol…. I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Spirit of Christmas… the pretty sparkle of the first snow…. the blanketed trees, decorations… smoking snow covered rooftops… cheesy holiday movies… Downtown Chicago… Christmas Carols… THE WHOLE 9..
I just can’t believe it’s here ALREADY! If you are not careful. …. Time will surely pass you by….

I heart December! I’ve lived a lot of different places (snow, no snow, ice storm, etc.) but I’m always glad when the Holiday Season rolls around.

I absolutely LOVE December. Love the snow, the Christmas trees, all the outdoor decorations, love the spirit. But most of all I love the it’s true meaning.
Guess that makes me a twinkler…

Love the “hip hop heads” lol. I’m a new reader of your site, and I love it! I like December because it marks the completion of a year. I know that sounds weird, but I like the idea of wrapping up the year and starting anew in January. That, and holiday food. It’s an excuse to overeat

I hate to be all emo, but since my daddy and granny died two years ago, I’ve come to hate this time of year. =(
Love the heads though. =D

i try to love December but there is always a love/hate relationship with it for me. If its not family than its the $$$ and gift buying part of it. But i try.
Every year… i try…

Those hip hop heads are slammin! Like gillian, I also have a love/hate relationship for December and all the materialistic craziness it brings. I try to get into for my nieces, but all the commercials and “right after” halloween decorating get to me. And, like giliian, I try.

I like the holiday season in general. I stay out of grinch mode by staying away from the mall. Each year I am challenged with finding new approaches to gift giving…
