talkin bout life: your price.
How much money is enough money for you? How much money would you say you need to be comfortable? Everyone has a number…an ideal…a prayer of what would be good enough for them. What makes this question oh so interesting is that some people are ok with thirty thousand while others would require at least a million a year just to get by. Different strokes different folks no? But being that I live in one of the most expensive cities in the world I would have to say that $300,000 a year for the rest of my life would suffice really make me smile as wide as the NJ turnpike.
So….what price would make you happy?

I feel that the 300,000 a year would make me smile too, but I’ll take $250,000 a year for the rest of my life, that would make me smile as wide as central freeway here in Dallas

Not much…$40K in lump sum and about $80k would have me set. I don’t need much. =D
Now if we want me to be ecstatic, any sort of six figures would surely do the trick.

This is a hard one… definitley diff strokes for diff folks…. but the more one get the more one seems to want or feel like they need…. however…. if I could have my dream home bought, built, and paid for, which wouldn’t cost that much since its only for me and maybe a guest house getaway for Mumsy….
I think 60K a year AFTER taxes will suffice….

If my husband and I each pulled in $50,000 a year that would be fabulous. We could afford all our healthy food, housing, and vacations. Now if you throw a child or two in there, the income may have to increase.
That’s the main thing I love about being in Houston. $100,000 income (combined) and you’re making it rain for no reason.

…it’s fun to dream, but with 125K a year (factoring in potential kiddies status) I’d say that’s sweet enough

Now I could take GT’s 300k a year, add 50 more yeah, (I’m greedy) and move down to Texas. All of my current money issues would be solved, but what new challenges would they bring? Hmmm.

Hmmm. $250,000a year for the rest of my life would be sweet. Most of it I store away….after I first buy a house and a car..and the best photo equipment/studio ever.

that’s so funny, i would say about 80 to 100k a year…my husband would probably say at least half a million..he’s got big dreams! LOL

I could live well, save for my kids education and my retirement if I made somewhere around $150K a year…. (plotting on how to get there now!)

Even though I don’t have a specific number (I’m open to whatever blessings will come my way) but 6 figures a year would definitely make me smile.

What a question. I live in a somewhat expensive city (and how expensive depends on where you live) and I think the neighborhood of $125K to $175K per annum, after taxes would be an excellent amount. I mean, but $300K doesn’t sound too shabby either. When you find out how to make that much money, doing what you love (for me, that’s blogging, writing and getting wine-drunk), please let me know.

For me and the kid to able to afford to live in BK decently, I think $100K/a year would work. That would take care of private school expenses and allow mom to take a vacation once in a blue, *BIG smiles*.
